Our Process

Every step of our intuitive process has been meticulously designed to ensure confidence, knowledge, and progress toward your unique financial goals. Whether your objectives include business succession planning, retiring early, or leaving a lasting legacy for your loved ones - Westlake Wealth Management will work with you one-on-one to help you achieve your lifelong financial dreams.

At Westlake Wealth Management, we do not follow a one-size-fits-most strategy.  We believe that money should be managed based on individual goals, time horizons, and risk tolerances.

Our 90+ Day Disciplined Process helps us equip our clients for long-term financial success.

Step 1 – Discovery Process

  • This is where we identify your goals, values, dreams, and concerns
  • Determine Risk Tolerance
  • No one will be making a decision during this appointment
  • Our primary goal during this meeting is to get to know each other. Here at Westlake Wealth Management, we are very selective about the people we choose to work with. It has never been our goal to be all things to all people, but rather, to be all things to a few people. And so, for that reason, before we take on any new clients, we are careful to gather enough information to ensure they pass all four of our tests.

Step 2 –  Develop Investment Strategy

  • Based on your Risk Tolerance and Goals, this is the step where we analyze current investment portfolio
  • Develop asset allocation strategy
  • Construct your portfolio

Step 3 – Investment Strategy Meeting

  • In-person meeting to present recommended investment strategy
  • Open new accounts
  • Transfer existing assets

Step 4 – Execute Investment Strategy

  • Place trades to execute agreed-upon Investment strategies

Step 5 – Follow-Up Meeting

  • Review First Statements
  • Organization of Paperwork
  • Set-up online account access and review online resources

Step 6 – Develop Wealth Management Plan

  • Comprehensive Financial Planning
  • Retirement Planning
  • Credit and Lending
  • Budgeting
  • Education Planning
  • Charitable Giving
  • Succession Planning

Step 7 – Ongoing Management & Monitoring

  • Develop schedule for review meetings
  • Monitoring of Assets
  • Make Changes when needed

We recognize that the situation of each client is unique. At times, this process may be modified to better suit the needs of an individual or household.
